CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH
OF THE RIGHT WORK?

For some contractors, the problem is finding enough opportunities. For others, it is spending too much time on opportunities that do not lead where they need to go.

PROJECTFLOW helps contractors build a more deliberate, repeatable flow of opportunities — so business development becomes less dependent on chance, referrals, and constantly chasing the next job.

OPPORTUNITY FLOW / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
01 / RECOGNITION

THE PROBLEM CAN BE AS SIMPLE AS
NOT ENOUGH OPPORTUNITIES.

But sometimes the challenge is what happens after opportunities appear.

NOT ENOUGH
OPPORTUNITIES
NOT ENOUGH OF
THE RIGHT ONES
TOO MANY
UNQUALIFIED ONES
NO CONSISTENT
PROCESS
NO CLEAR
VISIBILITY
02 / PIPELINE REFRAME

A FULL PIPELINE CAN STILL BE
A BAD PIPELINE.

A pipeline can be full and still be unhealthy. It can also be nearly empty.

Volume without clarity.
≠
➜
Fit + quality + movement + visibility.
FITDoes it make sense for the company?
QUALITYIs it worth the time and resources?
MOVEMENTIs it actually progressing?
VISIBILITYCan you see what is coming next?

The goal is not simply to fill the pipeline. It is to build a more reliable flow of opportunities worth pursuing.

03 / ACTIVITY REFRAME

MORE ACTIVITY
DOESN'T ALWAYS
MEAN MORE PROGRESS.

More calls do not automatically create better relationships.

More bids do not automatically create better opportunities.

More leads do not automatically create more business.

BUILD THE FLOW.DON'T JUST CHASE THE NEXT JOB.
04 / WHAT PROJECTFLOW DOES

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
SHOULD START WITH
THE BUSINESS.

There is no universal business-development strategy for contractors. Your market, capabilities, relationships, capacity, goals, and current pipeline all affect what makes sense.

01

BUILD OPPORTUNITY

Market identification, target-account development, opportunity sourcing, outbound business development and market expansion.

02

IMPROVE OPPORTUNITY QUALITY

Qualification, targeting, project/client fit, prioritization and pipeline evaluation.

03

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS

Prospect communication, relationship development, follow-up systems and account development.

04

CREATE STRUCTURE

Process development, CRM structure, outreach systems, follow-up discipline and BD workflows.

05

IMPROVE VISIBILITY

Pipeline visibility, opportunity tracking, source analysis, performance feedback and continuous improvement.

THE PRINCIPLE

PROJECTFLOW does not begin by deciding what you need. We begin by understanding what your business needs.

05 / HOW WE WORK

WE DON'T START WITH A SERVICE.
WE START WITH YOUR BUSINESS.

We first understand what is happening now. Then we determine what needs to improve, what should be built, and where business-development effort is most likely to create value.

01UNDERSTANDCurrent reality
02DIAGNOSEWhere the gap is
03PRIORITIZEWhat matters most
04BUILDFit the solution
05LEARN & ADAPTImprove the system
THE WORK SHOULD FIT THE PROBLEM — NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
06 / TRUST

WE'D RATHER BE
CLEAR THAN IMPRESSIVE.

Good business development should begin with understanding — not assumptions.

THINK BEFORE WE ACT

More activity is not automatically better. We first determine where effort is most useful.

BUILD AROUND REALITY

Your market, capabilities, relationships, capacity, goals and pipeline matter.

EARN TRUST THROUGH THE WORK

No inflated promises. No manufactured proof. No one-size-fits-all prescription.

07 / DIFFERENT APPROACH

A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT.

Business development should serve the business. Not the other way around.

01

STRATEGY BEFORE ACTIVITY

Know what you are trying to accomplish before increasing the amount of work being done.

02

QUALITY BEFORE VOLUME

More opportunities only help when they are relevant, viable and worth pursuing.

03

BUSINESS BEFORE THE PACKAGE

We do not begin by fitting your company into a predefined service.

04

SYSTEMS BEFORE RANDOMNESS

Business development should not depend entirely on luck, scattered outreach or memory.

And sometimes, the right answer is not PROJECTFLOW. If we do not see a meaningful problem we can help solve, we would rather say so.
08 / FIT

NOT EVERY CONTRACTOR
NEEDS THE SAME THING.

The starting point can look very different. The objective is the same: build a stronger business-development engine around the business you actually have.

WE NEED MORE
OPPORTUNITIES
WE NEED BETTER
OPPORTUNITIES
WE NEED MORE
CONSISTENCY
WE NEED BETTER
STRUCTURE
WE NEED BETTER
VISIBILITY
WE'RE NOT
SURE YET

Qualification works both ways.

09 / CONVERSATION

LET'S LOOK AT
YOUR BUSINESS.

You may need more opportunities. You may need better ones. You may need a more organized way to develop the opportunities you already have.

We will not know which until we understand where you are today.

Tell us what you are trying to build, what is happening in your business-development process, and where you feel the gap.

No pressure. We will first determine whether there is a meaningful problem PROJECTFLOW can help solve.

BUILDING A BUSINESS ISN'T JUST ABOUT WINNING THE NEXT PROJECT.

IT'S ABOUT CREATING THE CAPABILITY TO KEEP FINDING, DEVELOPING, AND PURSUING THE RIGHT OPPORTUNITIES TOMORROW.

A MESSAGE
FROM THE
FOUNDER

A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER.

If you're reading this, you probably already know how hard it is to build a construction business. You know how to do the work. The question is whether the business around that work is finding enough of the right opportunities.

I started PROJECTFLOW because I believe business development deserves more thought than simply making more calls, chasing more leads, or hoping the next referral comes along.

Every contractor has a different business, a different market, different strengths, different relationships, and different constraints. So I don't believe in forcing everyone into the same package. I believe in first understanding what is actually happening, then deciding what makes sense.

My promise is simple: I'll be honest with you. If I believe PROJECTFLOW can help, we'll figure out the right way forward and build it properly. If I don't think we're the right fit, I'll tell you that too.

Because in the long run, the goal isn't just to win the next project. It's to build a business that knows how to keep creating the right opportunities.
